we get to the end of the week, the closer we get to my favorite childhood
show. Well, today, you’re going to find out all about my second favorite

yesterday, when I said I had a schoolgirl crush on Kirk Cameron? Well,
Ricky Schroder blows him out of the water! I didn’t have a crush on Ricky
Schroder, I LOVED him. How could I not? Look at that face!
He’s not so bad now that he’s all grown up either!!
I am fairly
certain I have found the cheesiest moment in “Silver
Spoons” history. I’ll bet
Alfonso Ribeiro wishes he could burn this little piece of footage right
here… This is better than “The
Carlton”!!!

The
show made several “very special episodes” and tackled topics such as
drinking, teen pregnancy, child abuse, homelessness and many more.
Joel Higgins was secretly a songwriter and wrote jingles for several
popular commercials, including Kool-aid.
The
train that ran through the house was powered by compressed air.
Franklyn Seales, who played Dexter Stuffins (character Alfonso’s
Dad) was Julliard educated and unfortunately died of AIDS complications
in 1990.
