We had a
Nintendo when I was a kid, and I loved it! I played the heck out of Super
Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt (which were on the same cartridge), I LOVED the
Legend of Zelda, and you couldn’t get me to stop playing Tetris (You still
can’t, I have Tetris on my Nintendo DS and I can play that ALL DAY!). My
friend down the street had Contra, and I would beg and plead for mom to rent
Excitebike every time we went to the video store. I wasn’t by any means a
gamer kid, but I had my Nintendo, and I liked to play it. In fear of waxing
nostalgic, here are some old school NES memories. Enjoy!!

Nintendo
Knowledge!!
Let’s
start out first with a couple of quizzes! The guys at
mental_floss.com have once again, given us a couple of quizzes to play
with! I took both of these quizzes, and let me tell ya, I sucked. These
are pretty hard! Good Luck!!

Are You a Nintendo Historian?

The Nintendo Historian Quiz 2
Mario
Cake
Do you like cake? Do you like the Super Mario
Brothers?
Then this cake
is for you!

I found this on
Neatorama, but you can see the cake making process
and read all
about the girl who made it here:
Nintendo House
All I can say is
WOW!!

Too bad it’s
just a booth for
Carnegie Mellon University's Spring Carnival. It’s not a permanent
structure, and we can’t visit it. But you can see the original picture, and
more,
here. I originally found this on
Geekologie.
Nintendo Tattoo
I
enjoyed my Nintendo, but I never liked it THIS much…

And Last,
but not Least…

EXCITEBIKE!!!
